Sound system in the gym at ZŠ Železničná in Vrakuňa

We wrote about the importance and possibilities of sound system in school premises in the article Modern sound systems in schools. Undoubtedly, one of the important school premises is the gymnasium, which is used not only for playing sports, but also for various gatherings, lectures and other cultural performances for students and parents.

We are glad that the management of the Elementary School Železničná in Bratislava's Vrakuni also understands the importance of high-quality sound system in the gymnasium. At the same time, we also thank them in this way for reaching out and showing trust in the implementation of the gymnasium sound system project. In their case, too, they use this space for other activities in addition to physical education classes, such as interest groups under the heading of the local CVČ.

Within the set budget, we suggested using two high-quality 12-inch loudspeakers from the proven Spanish brand FONESTAR for the best sounding of the gym. Of course, since this is a space where there is a high probability of damage to the audio equipment by sports equipment, protective cages made of 3 mm thick wire were also a must. This solved the output device for the sound.

As for the sound source and its control, based on the requirements, we have proposed a combination of several devices so that the overall solution meets the condition of multi-functionality. The improved network player WR2 MKII with Bluetooth connection, which allows you to play Internet radios, podcasts and music files from local or network (NAS) storage, will take care of high-quality music. It is controlled simply through the application.

The use of a microphone is essential for school or cultural events. In this case, we reached for a dual diversity set of wireless UHF microphones from the Italian brand GLEMM with a range of 80 meters, which are ideal for both spoken word and singing.

The BST brand MX56U 2-zone stereo matrix mixing console will serve for convenient control during events. And to make it all really juicy, we used a professional power amplifier AMP300MKII from Ibiza Sound with protection against short circuit, overload and overheating. We installed all the controls in a 19-inch Fonestar transport RACK with hinged handles on the sides and rubber feet.

We believe that the school management, employees, students with their parents, and all other users will be satisfied with this set-up, and the local gym will provide the background for many successful events :) Thank you once again for the opportunity to implement this project.
